Scope and specifics of application
The primer-enamel EPPEX ATN can be used as a primer layer, as well as an independent finishing coating in the coating system for anti-corrosion protection of metal structures, the outer surface of tanks, equipment, engineering products, metal structures. It has high chemical resistance and mechanical strength.
It is used as a primer or intermediate coating for epoxy and polyurethane based coating materials in complex protection systems as well as an independent coating inside premises or under a roof.

Instruction for use
During refinishing mechanical cleaning is allowed to grade 3 to GOST 9.402-2004 (St 3 or St 2 to ISO8501-1:2007; PSt 3 or PSt 2 to ISO8501-2:1994).
Residual coating thickness should be no more than 200 microns, adhesion no less than 2 MPa to ISO 4624:2002 or no more than 3 points to GOST 15140-78.
Conditions
Air humidity – no more than 80%. Ambient temperature from +15°С to +35°C. It is possible to apply at the temperature of -5 ° C, while the temperature of the primer should be at least +15 °C to provide the necessary technological characteristics. To provide curing in closed space good ventilation is needed.

The product is two component. Component А is a dispersion of pigments and anticorrosion filler in epoxy resin. Component B is a hardener solution. Mix the contents of the containers in the supplied proportions. After mixing, use within the specified pot life. Mixing sequence: The basis (component A) is mixed with a construction mixer. Then mixed hardener (component B) is added to the basis (component A) and thoroughly mixed with a construction mixer. Attention! Careless mixing or incorrect ratio can lead to uneven curing and painting film properties weakening. |
