Description
Two-component solvent-free polyamine-cured epoxy material EPPEX ECO primer. It consists of a semi-finished primer EPPEX ECO (component A) and a hardener EPPEX ECO (component B).
Scope and specifics of application
It is used as an independent coating of the inner surface of tanks for storing drinking water, vegetable oils and domestic wastewater. It is suitable for properly prepared substrates made of carbon, galvanized, stainless steel and concrete.
The process of applying
Blending |
The product is two components. Component А is a dispersion of pigments and anticorrosion filler in epoxy resin. Component B is a hardener solution. Mix the contents of the containers in the supplied proportions. After mixing, use within the specified pot life. Mixing sequence: The basis (component A) is mixed with a construction mixer. Then mixed hardener (component B) is added to the basis (component A) and thoroughly mixed with a construction mixer. Attention! Careless mixing or incorrect ratio can lead to uneven curing and painting film properties weakening. |
Proportions |
100:30 by weight 2:1 by volume Regardless of the base temperature, the minimum temperature of the base and hardener mixture should be +10°C.

Can be recommended for small and hard-to-reach areas. Thin the primer depending on the working conditions when using brush. |
Cleaner |
Use special compounds to clean equipment. |
Temperature resistance |
The product is able to withstand temperatures, maintaining protective properties, up to +120℃ dry heat (peak values, no more than 60 min., +140℃), immersion in seawater + 50℃ (peak values, no more than 60 min., +60℃), immersion in crude oil +70℃ (peak values, no more than 60 min., +80℃). The indicated temperatures relate to the protective properties preservation. Appearance may suffer in these conditions. |
