EPPEX VIS primer is all-season application material to be coated from -100C to +400C. Due to the corrosion inhibitor, it has increased protective properties. Suitable for metal structures used in various climatic areas. It is allowed to be immersed in fresh, sea and waste water as well as to be applied directly on the rust layer up to 30 microns.It is intended for anticorrosive protection of the external surface of storage tanks for petroleum products, power line supports, pipeline supports, antenna-mast structures, ground parts of piles, cellular communication towers. It is used to paint bridges, hydraulic facilities, ports, ship structures, metal platforms, overpasses and floating docks as well as any metal structures operated in a humid atmosphere, sea and fresh water conditions.

Two component epoxy vinyl primer EPPEX VIS is applied on the surface at the temperature from +150С to +350С relative humidity no more 80%. To provide technical characteristics the temperature of primer should be no less than + 150С. Surface temperature should be 30 higher than dew point.The process of applying

Blending |
The product is two component. Component А is a dispersion of pigments and anticorrosion filler in epoxy resin. Component B is a hardener solution. Mix the contents of the containers in the supplied proportions. After mixing, use within the specified pot life. Mixing sequence: The basis (component A) is mixed with a construction mixer. Then mixed hardener (component B) is added to the basis (component A) and thoroughly mixed with a construction mixer. Attention! Careless mixing or incorrect ratio can lead to uneven curing and painting film properties weakening. |
