Two component polyurethane primer-enamel, hardened by aliphatic polyisocyanate.Scope and specifics of application
Polytex SQ enamel primer is the material of good value for money with no pre-priming. It comes both with various degrees of gloss (from deep matt to high gloss) and a large selection of ready-made color solutions. Thick-layer application is possible.
It is used for anticorrosive protection of internal and external surfaces of various vehicles: agricultural and construction equipment, public transport (buses, trolleybuses, trams, etc.), railway transport, as well as other metal surfaces that require oil and gasoline resistance, increased resistance to moisture, as well as resistance to temperature differential and UV radiation.
Polytex SQ enamel primer has good adhesion, bending strength, abrasion resistance, and accelerated open time. It is successfully used in temperate and cold climates, providing long-term protection against corrosion.

Main applications: mechanical engineering.
Instruction for use
Metal surface should be abrasive blasted to grade 1 or 2 to GOST 9.402 (Sa 2,5 or Sa 2 по ISO 8501-1:2007). Clean surface must be free from dust and grease.
If the quality of surface preparation decreases, the service life and its operating performance may change.
Conditions
Two component polyurethane primer-enamel Polytex SQ is applied with ambient temperature from +50С to +300С and air humidity no more than 80%.
Basis temperature higher than dew point no less than 3°C.

Blending |
Polyurethane primer-enamel consists of two components: component А - basis, component B - hardener. Before use, pre-mix component A with a low-speed drill with mixing nozzle, then mix with component B in stoichiometric ratio in the delivery form. Mix the resulting material thoroughly until smooth. After the hardener is added into the semi-finished product, the material should be allowed to stand for at least 5-10 minutes. |
